The presenation took place at the 20th convention of "Repair and Strengthening of Structures 2014", which was held at the Confrence & Cultural Center of the University of Patras, was organised by Prof. Stefanos Dritsos and its topic was:
"The importance of proper reinforcement placement in structural members (beams, columns, walls etc.) designed with model based analysis and its effect on their static and dynamic response", Keynote Speaker: Takis Koumoulos, representative of T. Koumoulos, D. Koumoulou, G. Koumoulos and Associates.

In addition, the contribution of Oplismos software to a precise and detailed reinforcement placement in members (position, spacings etc.) as it provides the ability to automatically create reinforcement tables for the formwork and cutting length tables for the steel manufacturing crews, was discused and evaluated.
