LIBRARY OF COLUMNS

Software Oplismos is a very effective tool for detailing of Reinforced Concrete Columns.

Using software Oplismos, a wide range of reinforced concrete column sections, typical and random shaped sections, Box shaped sections, Ring shaped sections etc., has been configured, according to the European detailing standard and regulations, as well as the structural design practices.

The columns of Oplismos Library, are grouped into categories, based on shape, dimensions, required reinforcement, loading combinations, special cases of loads etc.

The columns detailing sections, are displayed in a layout view, below the group header, with the section's dimensions, the bars diameter, the accurate bar placements, the spacing between them, the number and the type number of bars, as well as the stirrups' instructional figures, the spacing between them, the type number and their number per meter.

The Oplismos Library's Columns detailing sections, are created to support our company's structural projects, and consists of reinforced columns for residential buildings , office buildings, industrial buildings, public buildings, theatres, stadiums etc., as well as for technical structures such as bridges.

The Dropbox application is the easy way, either to transfer directly, the files between the Oplismos Library's Columns and PC's hard disk (Direct Download) in .pdf format, or to store Oplismos files to the user's Dropbox folder (Save to my Dropbox).

The versions "Oplismos Advanced" and "Demo Oplismos", contain the Oplismos Library's Columns file and gives the user, the ability to process the including columns' sections as well as to "borrow" and copy those members to another project and process them in any way he sees fit.

Noticed that the user is able to create library files containing selected members (e.g. wall library, beam library etc.) that can be used in specific projects. There is no limit to the amount of the members including in Libraries as well as the amount of Libraries they can be created and the Library's members sections will be sorted, automatically by software Oplismos(See Oplismos Manual, Chapter 11).
